THE STORY OF FREDSTED
Fredsted Studio was founded in 2016, emerging from a shared vision to create high-quality, aesthetically driven solutions for architectural spaces. Initially inspired by the combined expertise of Kasper Fredsted and Thomas Bak, merging Kaspers deep knowledge of fine hardwood with Thomas’ commitment to wood-based architectural solutions, the studio began with a focus on offering exclusive wood for interiors and exteriors.
The name “Fredsted” reflects a strong identity and vision, rooted in Danish craftsmanship and a belief in using honest materials to create timeless, meaningful spaces. As Fredsted Studio evolved, Lars Mortensen joined as co-owner, bringing his extensive background in natural stone, further expanding the studios contribution to a complete selection of materials needed for every phase of the construction process.
Today, Fredsted Studio is a team of eleven specialists, including project managers, designers, and structural engineers, all dedicated to realize projects that demand both beauty and resilience. Fredsted Studio stands as a distinguished provider of meticulously curated materials, showcasing an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and exceptional quality in every detail.
