EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIESMASONRY FACADE
MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTIONNatural stone facades can be constructed using stones of different sizes, accommodating both small and large formats. This flexibility allows for customization to meet the preferences of the customer or architect and to match the chosen type of stone. The masonry system is versatile and can be applied to various substrates, including concrete, steel, and brick.
The system relies on anchors that are specifically adapted to the underlying construction. These anchors are mounted on the substrate and secured into the joints of the stone facade. For optimal stability and appearance, a joint size of 3-8 mm is recommended.
The natural stone used has a minimum thickness of 80 mm, and the lengths can be customized as desired, depending on the selected stone. The stones are laid in PCI Carrament gray, ensuring that joints are completely filled without any holes or cavities. Behind the stone, an anchor designed for the selected projection extends into the joint for fastening. Insulation may also be placed between the anchors for additional benefits.

WHY CHOOSE MASONRY FACADES?
Natural stone masonry enhances aesthetic appeal and contributes to sustainability compared to conventional materials. This method ensures durable, attractive facades with a reduced environmental impact.
BONDED FACADE
MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTIONThe bonded facade system can be applied to various substrates, including concrete, steel, and brick. The system consists of aluminum profiles positioned according to the bond pattern of the stones. Initially, a double-sided adhesive tape is applied to these profiles to temporarily fix the stones in place. Subsequently, a strip of adhesive is applied, and the stone is mounted. The tape holds the stone until the adhesive has cured.
Natural stones used in this system typically range from 12-20 mm in thickness, depending on the stone type. Behind the stone, a double-sided adhesive tape and an adhesive strip are used for mounting. The aluminum profile is specifically designed for the task, and an anchor is projected for the selected stone projection. Insulation may be placed between the anchors if needed.

MECHANICAL FACADE
MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTIONFor mechanically hung stone facades, stones of at least 30 mm in thickness are used. The thickness requirement is dictated by the need to drill holes in the stone edges for anchoring purposes.
The system consists of anchors that are specifically designed to match the underlying construction and are statically calculated based on the weight of the stone. Holes are pre-drilled in the edges of the stone, and the stone is then mounted using pins that pass through the anchors and into the stone edges.
The system is versatile and can be applied to a variety of substrates, including concrete, steel, and brick. The use of mechanical anchoring allows for relatively large stone formats, providing flexibility in facade design and installation.

SPECIFICATIONS
The facade stones can be obtained in sizes up to 2 m², although the maximum size depends on the type of stone being used. The stones are mounted on pins at the sides, with an anchor system behind them designed for the specific projection of the stone. Insulation can also be placed between the anchors if needed.
MAINTENANCE
Mechanical facades generally require no maintenance. However, they can be cleaned if algae growth appears on the facade. In some cases, applying graffiti protection may be advisable to preserve the facade’s appearance over time.
WHY CHOOSE MECHANICAL FACADES?
The primary advantage of mechanical facades is their strength and durability, which has made this method a preferred choice for natural stone facade installation over the years. The ability to use large stone formats provides aesthetic and practical benefits, while the versatile anchor system allows for application on various substrates.
Mechanical facades offer a reliable and durable solution for natural stone installations, combining classic techniques with modern engineering to create strong and aesthetically pleasing building exteriors.
LITHOSTONE FACADE
MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTIONThe Lithostone Upcycle system repurposes stones from existing facades, which are typically 30 mm or thicker. These stones are reinforced on both sides and split in half, producing multiple square meters of new facade material. The finished stones can be very large, up to 5.5 m² in size, and are significantly lighter than traditional 30 mm facade stones, reducing the weight by approximately half. This reduced weight is achieved through a construction method that involves a front layer of natural stone, 5-15 mm thick, backed by lightweight concrete reinforced with a fiber mesh. The substructure is made of aluminum.
The system includes a complete hanging system that can be applied to various substrates, such as concrete, steel, and brick. The stones can be joined to appear as a single, large stone slab, creating a monolithic look with integrated features like corners and angles. This system allows for the creation of three-dimensional form elements, including corners, angles, and U-shaped shells, which give the appearance of being made from a single piece of stone.
