Massimo Copenhagen is a Danish design brand specialising in handmade rugs, where Scandinavian aesthetics are combined with craftsmanship and material quality. Based in Copenhagen, the company has developed collections for both private homes and architectural projects for more than 20 years. The collections range from ready-made designs to bespoke solutions, supported by a flexible approach and close collaboration with architects and designers. Materials and craftsmanship
Massimo works exclusively with natural and recycled materials, including wool, bamboo and hemp, selected for their tactile qualities, durability and environmental considerations. Each rug carries its own character, shaped by both material properties and the handcrafting process. Production takes place in India, where skilled artisans carry forward generations of weaving knowledge. Every step – from spinning and dyeing to weaving and finishing – is handled manually, allowing each piece to retain a distinct and individual expression.
