A surface originally created for wall coverings, the solid Vergata elements are now expertly applied to washbasins, where vertical channels add a sense of elegance and slenderness to the cylindrical form. For the Pietra da Torre Washbasin, the distinctive fractured crests continue uninterrupted, even as the basin is crafted from two solid stone pieces. The sink can also be crafted from a single solid stone without joints.
