Mahogany Untreated
Sample: 10,00 €
Mahogany is a timeless and versatile wood species, known for its natural warmth, fine texture and subtle sheen.
Its contrasting tones, from softly grey sapwood to deep brown-red heartwood, create an elegant surface rich in depth and variation.
This variation is untreated, meaning the wood initially appears in a rich, warm brown tone that slowly weathers into a soft grey surface when exposed to time and weather.
Mahogany adds depth and permanence to architectural expressions and facades, ageing beautifully through time.

mahogany
Mahogany is appreciated for its remarkable strength and durability, making it a long-lasting choice within both architecture and design. Each plank reveals a unique structure that enhances the overall impression of craftsmanship and authenticity. Over time, the wood deepens in colour when exposed to light, developing a warm patina that accentuates its natural character.
Our mahogany is delivered in premium quality with a beautifully selected front side. Natural imperfections such as knots, minor cracks, discoloration, stains and pinholes may occur to a limited extent, adding depth and individuality to the surface.
The texture features scattered, medium-fine pores with a lightly glossy finish. As a dense and stable hardwood, mahogany performs exceptionally well in the Nordic climate with a long lifespan and refined appearance.
Origin Cameroun, FSC certified.
