Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Mater explores the relationship between material, colour and surface. The collection is characterised by expressive glazed patterns applied to large-format porcelain stoneware, creating a strong tactile quality and a distinctly handcrafted appearance.
Developed through an innovative glazing process, Mater combines the precision of industrial production with the depth and richness often associated with artisanal ceramics. Thick, glossy glazes interact with the surface to create subtle variations, texture and visual movement, giving each piece a unique character.
