Installation
A wooden floor must be allowed to breathe, which is why the planks are laid on a solid subfloor of concrete or plywood. With our recommended parquet adhesive, a stable foundation is created while still allowing the floor to move naturally.
The planks are installed in a staggered pattern, letting the grain and joints create a harmonious flow. Along walls and fixed elements, a narrow gap is left to give the wood space to adjust to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity.
In larger rooms, discreet expansion joints can be incorporated to ensure the floor retains its balance and beauty for many years.
