Vaselli is a family-owned stone workshop and design studio based in Rapolano, Tuscany, where working with natural stone has been part of everyday life for generations. At Vaselli, the material always comes first, and each project is shaped from the ground up with respect for the inherent qualities of stone and its architectural context. As the exclusive Nordic distributor, Fredsted Studio works closely with Vaselli to bring their refined stone solutions into our projects. The collection spans from smaller objects to bespoke kitchens, bathrooms and architectural elements. All production takes place in-house at Vaselli, where joinery, stone processing and finishing are brought together under one roof. This creates a coherent process rooted in craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Vaselli’s approach is defined by Spirito Pietra – a philosophy centred on allowing natural stone to appear in its purest form. The material is shaped to highlight its structure, tactility and strength. As stone is a limited resource, the work is guided by a focus on longevity, with designs that place material integrity at the forefront.
MATERIALS & CRAFTMANSHIP
Vaselli works exclusively with natural materials selected for their quality and sensory properties. Travertine, marble and selected wood types are handled with precision, and each element is produced by hand. Every object carries traces of its making process and the level of care that defines Vaselli’s work, contributing to a calm and distinctive expression where form and function are closely tied to material knowledge.
A CLOSE PROCES
Projects are developed through a transparent and adaptable process, from early concepts through to installation. Collaboration can take place directly with Fredsted Studio or through an architect, with each phase adjusted to the scope and ambition of the project. The approach supports outcomes that are precise, carefully considered and fully grounded in their architectural setting.
