Fredsted Stool
Our signature stool was born from a design collaboration with Ravn Arkitekter. Originally crafted in wood as an aesthetic and functional object inspired by Japanese design principles, it embodies simplicity, balance, and timelessness. Later reinterpreted in natural stone, the material’s strength and weight give the piece a sculptural presence.
The stool was developed to unite both our stone and wood surfaces in one cohesive design, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For Fredsted, it has become a statement piece – a symbol of our design DNA that ties interiors together through materiality. Each stool is handcrafted by Vaselli in Italy from a single block of stone, raw and honest, without additional materials – a pure expression of nature’s strength and beauty.
