Fredsted Studio unfolds as an open and transparent space where architecture, craftsmanship, and materiality meet. The building itself sets the tone with a facade detailed with untreated mahogany, designed to weather gracefully into a soft grey patina against the black structure. The adjoining terrace is crafted from untreated IPE, where planks in varying widths illustrate the possibilities. Outdoors, dedicated mock-ups present different facade solutions, allowing visitors to experience how our surfaces interact with light, weather, and context in real life.
Inside, the journey begins in a foyer laid with warm grey Mosa tiles. The office spaces are composed with solid wood planks in mixed widths, striking a balance between refinement and ease, while walls clad in Black Oak from our wood collection bring depth and contrast.
At the heart of the studio lies our showroom, a space layered with inspiration for building, interiors, and design. Here, our extensive material-lab unfolds, showcasing a curated selection of natural stone, wooden floors, surface treatments, paint and interior. Visitors can experience surfaces for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as a wide range of carefully sourced inspiration.
The showroom also houses an exclusive selection of furniture and objects from our design partners, offering visitors a glimpse into international design at its finest. A highlight is the presence of Vaselli, renowned for their handcrafted Italian stone furniture. Central to the space is a fully functional travertine kitchen, sculpted as both a working piece and an architectural statement. Fredsted Studio is not only a place to view materials, but a destination to explore possibilities. Every surface, every piece, and every detail is curated to inspire, bridging the worlds of architecture, interiors, and bespoke craftsmanship.
