S234 is a specialized impregnating agent that minimizes the absorption of water, dirt, oil, and grease into all natural stone surfaces, including both soft and hard stones, agglomerate marble, and terrazzo. It is also suitable for polished surfaces, enhancing the color and texture of the stone. S234 can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Use
Before starting, turn off any underfloor heating, and ensure the floor has cooled down before proceeding with the treatment. Thoroughly clean the area and allow it to dry, ensuring a maximum moisture content of 2-4% before sealing. Apply the impregnating agent evenly using a soft cloth or a flat cleaning mop with short bristles. For highly absorbent surfaces, repeat the application after 24 hours. On less absorbent surfaces, remove any excess material with a towel or similar item before it dries. Excess material can also be wiped away with a towel dampened with S234.
Test the product on a small, hidden area to assess its effectiveness and coverage. Do not use the product at temperatures below 12°C or above 25°C.
Drying time: Approximately 2-4 hours, depending on room temperature and air circulation.
Important: Avoid walking on the floor until it is completely dry, and protect the surface from water and moisture for 12 hours. Do not cover the floor with rubber, plastic, lacquer, varnish, or similar materials. Remove all food items from the area before starting work.
The oil- and water-repellent properties develop within 48 hours, and once cured, the product is harmless to health.
Always follow HMK’s recommended methods for use and application. Before treatment, thoroughly clean the floor with HMK R155 Primer (acid-free). For ongoing cleaning and maintenance, we recommend HMK P324 Precious Stone Soap.
Store in a frost-free environment and keep out of reach of children.
